THE BIG "6"

Austin turned 6 on November 2nd. It is very hard for me to beleive that this little guy is now in Kindergarten, learning to read and turning SIX. How time flies!
His party was held on the weekend because all of his family is scatered throughout Davis and South Salt Lake Counties.
We had Pin the Tail on the Donkey, Some came where they had to chase each other and step their tail off. At first I thought is was a new version of Pin The Tail on the Donkey and that RJ had gone just a little mad. The kids loved it though. Even the littlest of children. andrew thought it was great just to run, run, run.
They got to hit the pinata and needless to say that a week after Halloween is not the time to fill your children up on more candy, but that is what they did.
Then it was off for cake and ice cream, presents and home to bed--they were exhausted!!!
Happy Birthday Austin...We love you bunches!!!!!

I love the birthday cake! It is so hard to believe that Austin and Charlie are so big now. My Andrew has been bugging me all week to see his sweetheart and telling me about when he marries her and has kids. I'm so glad your my friend and neighbor. Have a super week.

About Me

My photo
Keith and I were married on October 12,1996 in the Manti, Utah LDS Temple. We have no children but raised one child, Kassie, who is actually my niece. We have 3 adorable grandchildren, Austin 5, Ashlynne 4, and Andrew 1. It has become apparent that our home has an OPEN-DOOR policy, since a lot of people have come and gone through our doors. I retired from the medical profession in Aug of 2007 after nearly 30 years and spend my time taking care of these three very lively, often funny,and very active children. My mother lives with us, however she is serving in the Illinois Peoria Mission and will return in July of 2011. Keith is an R.N. and works at a local rehab center in the Mental Health department. One day we hope to finish our home and travel more;
